Nov. 8th, 2010 01:53 pmTami (dr_is_in) husband passed away unexpectedly this morning. Due to his health, they have no savings. Many of you might know her from her being active in various fandoms. If anyone would have a few $ to spare, or just prayers to offer, it would be nice. This is a copy of Xenutia's post in her LJ this morning...

Hi all, this is Xenutia, posting from Tami's LJ for her.
As some of you may already know, Tami's husband Bill passed away this morning, after a long struggle with kidney disease and other illnesses. This has come as quite a shock as he had been making good progress in recent months, and understandably Tami and the family are ill-prepared because of this. I know many of you have helped out before now, when Bill needed urgent medication or their situation had left them struggling to pay rent, and I hate to ask now when so many people are left short by recession, but if you can help out in any way to cover Bill's funeral expenses, either by a donation or simply by amplifying the signal on your LJs, Twitters, etc, I know it would go a long way toward taking some of the pressure off her.
I know Tami would also appreciate any messages or prayers from her friends right now . . . she might not read them right away but I'll pass it along and then they'll be here for her when she's ready to read them.
