asking a Huge favor

snufflesdbearI have been angsting over this for sometime now, and am just going to ask/statement things here.
I am in desperate need of a small loan. $1000. Loan, not hand out. My unemployment got denied.
Here's the deal, I restart work March 12. I have a savings bond from 1979, which is worth a couple thousand $$. Which I can not easily cash (it's in hubby's name, he has no ID, I have power of attorney, but need a special seal before cashing it). The bond is going to take 6-8weeks to process, assuming *someone* will certify the POA properly (banks that can do it will not, because I have no accounts with them)Obviously, work won't pay until around the end of March.
That bond was going to be filler money for needed things like...oh... food, medicine, utility bills, heat.... I got it figured to $1000 until I get back to work/start to get paid.
If someone knows someone/somehow I can *borrow* from, legitimately, I am willing to pay some interest.
My credit sucks, so equity (which I have 100% of in my house - yeah PAID IN FULL!) and cash loans is not an option. I have tried that peer-to-peer lending scheme, too. I have exhausted all local help avenues (no children, Zenaru being disabled, but not legally, means no help at all- plus, I own my own home).
Money would be paid back ASAP upon cashing in the bond, and/or when I get back to work or get unemployment.
I know with so much else in the world going on, this may seem like to much to ask, but I am asking.
Alternately, if anyone on my list works for a company which can do an embossed notary/certification of my POA, that would help. It'd still be a month + before I got the money, but it would help.
